Start spreading the news…

New York, New York! I have been back for 2 days already, but I needed all that time to recuperate… I am SO TIRED! I left my house Tuesday at 5 am and only came back Friday around midnight. Below is the tale of my time in New York…

Tuesday, January 19th

First of all.. I left SLC in a 7 am flight, but only arrived at the hotel my friends were at 7 pm! CRAZY! The shuttle took almost 3 hours from the airport to the hotel. Also, my flight was 8 hours long because it stopped in Phoenix, AZ. I didn’t have to get off the plane, but still! 8 hours! No food! Just an orange juice! It was insaneeeeeeee. But I arrived in NY and I could not even think of taking a single shot till I had my food. After walking a bit, we settled for a McDonalds… At least it was cheap. And I love how NY has all the calories in the menus of most restaurants. Definitely helpful.

Alright, so after dinner we walked around Times Square. Dani and Diego’s hotel was really close to a bunch of things in Manhattan, so most things we did walking. So after dinner, we walked towards the Rockefeller Center.

Then we walked around some more and I got a chance to see a few interesting places around the Times Square area. Lady Gaga was going to perform at the Radio City Music Hall the following night. My friends tried to get tickets, but they were sold out.

Wednesday, January 20th

Statue of Liberty, of course! First things first, right? So we woke up somewhat early, took the subway straight to the Staten Island station (or whatever they are called, sorry, I have not memorized it) and walked to the area where you get on the Ferry. The first photos here are the ones I took of the park surrounding the port.

Thursday, January 21st

Next day’s first stop was the Brooklyn bridge. It was a quick quick stop because we had to go back to uptown to meet with Neneca that was coming from Buffalo to meet with us.

So we finally met Neneca up in Time square and we caught up for a while, we went to Central Park (Yeyyy!) and got one of those pedi cabs and toured around. It was my faaaavorite part of the trip. I loved the Park it was so pretty.

Friday, January 22nd

Nooooo! The last day of the trip! All I had was two hours before I had to go to the airport so we went to the Empire State, that luckily had no lines.
